The Thames British School, located in Madrid, prides itself on providing pupils with the highest level of education, and a wide range of opportunities for personal development. Our British school in Madrid provides top quality education in accordance with the National Curriculum for England, the British core curriculum used in English and Welsh schools. The National Curriculum for England guarantees continuity of the programme at every step of education and its guidelines allow students’ progress to be monitored. Our approach provides conditions for full language immersion regardless of students’ initial knowledge of English.

Mis dos hijos han cursado year 11 en este centro el año 23/24, es mi deber moral compartir la peor experiencia que hemos tenido en nuestra vida académica, en enseñanza y valores.
El colegio en si es nefasto, el ausentismo del profesorado está a la orden del día y no terminan los temarios porque no hay profesores suficientes o los que hay no saben de esas asignaturas, la organización es un desastre en cuanto a los horarios, a veces hay clases por las tardes de apoyo y otras no, sin más explicación. Alguna profesora no muestran respeto hacia los alumnos, aún existe lo de las manías? pensaba que eso ya estaba superado, o es que están muy cansados los profesores para hacer su trabajo, allí aprueban o pasan de curso sin aprobar, sólo los que decide la dirección sin valoración continua ni coherente del curso completo y con sólo unos cuantos exámenes piloto mocks, ya tienen todo hecho. Dicho por una profesora, están enviando esos informes a Cambridge antes de los exámenes oficiales para que no haya discordancia entre la nota del examen y la nota el colegio, como centro examinador, esto huele muy mal, verdad Ms. Gabbitas? Ocultación de informes sobre la valoración de las notas, se niegan a las revisiones a petición de los alumnos, les interesa más la factura que la enseñanza. Llevan a los niños a los exámenes de Cambridge IGCSE sin preparación suficiente, es igual que soltarles delante de un toro sin saber torear. Destacar que permiten que los chicos pueden llevar el uniforme de chica..hahah.(esto está muy bien pero mejor lo dejas para después del colegio). En el colegio hay un código de educación y de vestimenta para todos igual y no debería haber distinciones. Todo en si es una vergüenza y dice mucho del centro que se enorgullece de tan alto nivel de enseñanza, quien lo diría?. Revisa las reseñas de google el 90% son falsas, serán amigos o falsas identidades? algo es, porque qué casualidad esas identidades no hacen reseñas de otros lugares. En un colegio con esta factura es vergonzoso que te obliguen a repetir un solo curso.. que estáis haciendo mal? Háztelo mirar. La desidia y la vagancia no son buenas cualidades Mrs English. No pierdan su tiempo y su dinero llevando a sus hijos a este cuchitril lleno de directores de tal y de cual y profesores incompetentes, altivos y vanidosos. Ha sido un año perdido y han intentado destruir la ilusión de dos buenos alumnos, pero no lo han conseguido. Basura

Mi hijo ya lleva 3 años en el colegio y estamos muy contentos. Este año entrará el más pequeño también.
Las clases son reducidas y personalizadas atendiendo las necesidades de los alumnos. Incluso tienen una especial atención con los padres de los alumnos.
Personal y profesorado excelente.
Lo recomiendo.
